Artist and gallery owner Ronit D. Appel was born in New York City in 1986 and immigrated to Israel at the young age of 17, residing in Jerusalem. Her life story is perhaps the greatest story never told. "Silenced by the world, her art became her voice. An unrecognized hero, Appel's art speaks of beauty and light while bearing witness to unspeakable evil."
